The second that Justin Theroux joined Instagram last week, the pleas from followers for him to get his wife. Jennifer Aniston, yo join began. Now, we have the next best thing: a snapshot of her.
Of course, the Cake actress is only shown in profile and she isn’t exactly identified, but it brings us one step closer to having Aniston on social media. And honestly, it’s probably as close as we’ll ever come to the real thing, since she’s noted that her attempts at it were less than ideal.
“#wcw #valentinored #xo” Theroux captioned the photo of Aniston in what appears to be the strapless Valentino number she wore for the 2013 Oscars.

Theroux and Aniston have done their best to keep their romance out of the spotlight since they began dating in 2011, except for the typical newlywed gushing. They reportedly kept their Aug. 5 wedding a surprise from guests, and never released wedding photos, an anomaly in the world of celebrity these days. Having one of the most high-profile breakups in Hollywood history, such as Aniston’s 2005 divorce from Brad Pitt, has to make a person want to keep some things quiet.
So while the pic Theroux shared of her is not the greatest, it’s progress. Baby steps.
